Leading up to the release of the first in a trilogy of books Transcend Social was contacted by authors Alan Gold and Mike Jones in the hopes that they could create online demand prior to their upcoming bestseller, Bloodline, hitting both the physical and online shelves. By utilising lesser known Facebook tips and tricks and a robust, hyper-targeted advertising campaign the online presence was dramatically extended to include not just Facebook but also Twitter and Goodreads.

Over the first three months the page saw significant growth and increased engagement from the fans. As the book celebrated its release in the lead up to the Christmas shopping period Transcend Social recommended and implemented a Facebook competition in which people could win a copy of the book. Creating a custom Facebook tab for the page Transcend Social moderated the competition and several ad campaigns that linked both to the custom Facebook tab and to the Amazon page. Over the course of the ad campaign the book’s publisher, Simon and Schuster, confirmed that they had seen a spike in sales linked to Facebook.

With two more books due out over the next 24 months Transcend Social is proud to continue our relationship and we look forward to promoting the tentatively titled ‘Stateless’.
